Classical V-belts

Classical V-belts

  • Simple structure, easy manufacturing and installation, low cost
  • Smooth transmission, low noise, suitable for quiet environments
  • Excellent shock absorption, reducing vibration and impact during transmission
  • Slips on pulleys under overload, providing overload protection
  • Twistable transmission for special applications
  • Maximum linear speed: narrow V-belts up to 50 m/s, standard V-belts up to 30 m/s

Classical V-belt is the most commonly used as a means for power transmission.

Material Construction

Cover fabric: It is highly elastic, can easily bend and stretch while the belt is rotating, and has strong resistance to abrasion.
Cord: It has high tensile strength, low elongation, and high bending fatigue resistance.
V-Core rubber: It uses a highly flexible compounded rubber that is less deformed under high load and has excellent durability.(on back and toothing), on request, used in order to: reduce the coefficient of friction, improve the tooth engagement, reduce the noise.
